First Contact Day is here: the Aliens have arrived on Earth.

But they’re anything like the Aliens from the movies. Parked in a muddy Yorkshire field, their spaceship looks like a barn-sized round of Cheddar Cheese, and the only reason why scientists discovered that it is, indeed, an alien spacecraft and not some unregistered attempt to get into the Guinness World Records is that it tastes like the square root of pi.

The Unidentified Dairy Object is unmovable and indestructible, but it comes equipped with a mailbox. As the landscape around the spaceship begins transmuting into abstract-tasting food, a select group of scientists, intellectuals and cheese experts is charged with writing a letter to the Unidentified Dairy Object.
